Teacher certification programs in many areas of specialization are
available to Livingston College students through the Graduate School of
Education. There is no undergraduate education major offered at
Rutgers; students apply to a five-year program that results in both a
bachelor's and a master's degree. Education students specialize in a
subject other than education and simultaneously complete course work
