Students admitted on conditional status without an introductory statistics course that covers descriptive and basic inferential statistical procedures must complete such course before taking Methods of Social Work Research I in the generalist curriculum.

*Electives and distribution requirements are scheduled in the second and third year of the program, once prerequisites have been met. Individual choice is not generally possible as electives are chosen by cohort, based on interests, needs, and availability of instructors. Students interested in a particular elective course are invited to consult with IW program administration.
