Admission


A bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized institution of higher education is required, and an undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 or better is desired.

All applications are completed online at https://gradstudy.rutgers.edu. The following materials required for the application:

  • Application
  • Fee of $70 payable to Rutgers University
  • 2+ years of supervisory or 5+ years of professional experience in public or nonprofit sectors
  • Detailed résumé
  • 3.0 GPA from prior degree at postsecondary institution
  • Official transcript from each postsecondary institution attended (bachelor's degree from recognized institution required)
  • Three letters of recommendation (at least one from current employer or supervisor)
  • International students: minimum IBT-internet based TOEFL is Writing 22, Speaking 23, Reading 21, Listening 17. or IELTS score of 7
