The privileges of registration, advance registration, and receipt of a diploma at commencement are barred to students having outstanding obligations to the university. Obligations may take the form of unpaid monies, unreturned or damaged books and equipment, parking fines, other charges for which a student may become legally indebted to the university, and failure to comply with disciplinary sanctions or administrative actions.
University departments and offices may place "holds" on registration and diplomas for any student having an outstanding obligation.
Registration is barred for students with obligations of $1000 or more. Grades and transcripts may also be withheld for not complying with immunization requirements.
