Course Credit Load


Students who are in good academic standing (2.5 or higher cumulative GPA) are permitted to register for a maximum of 19 credits during Fall/Spring semesters; a maximum of 14 credits in the Summer Session; and 3 credits in the Winter Session.

Students who are on academic probation (cumulative GPA is below 2.5) are permitted to register for a maximum of 14 credits during Fall/Spring semesters; a maximum of 14 credits in the Summer Session; and 3 credits in the Winter Session.

Students may request to take one additional course, requiring a course overload, in their final semester prior to graduation as long as the student has a 3.25 cumulative GPA (or higher). To request a course overload, students must contact their RBS academic advisor.
