Degree Requirements

In order to graduate from the Newark College of Arts and Sciences all students must complete the following requirements:

1. Successfully complete at least 120 academic credits.
2. Successfully complete the college's Core Curriculum.
3. Successfully complete one of the major programs of study.
4. Successfully complete a second concentration.
5. Successfully complete the Writing across the Curriculum requirement.
6. Successfully complete the foreign language requirement (does not apply to all students).
7. Successfully earn a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or better.
