Dance


The dance department is housed on the Douglass campus in New Brunswick. The Nicholas Music Center contains dance studios, faculty and staff offices, student locker rooms, a student lounge, and the Soma Center, which operates as a fully equipped Pilates, conditioning, and rehabilitation center.

The Victoria J. Mastrobuono Theater is a 335-seat proscenium theater used for the presentation of productions featuring the work of guests, faculty, and student artists.

The Loree Dance Theater is a 220-seat black box theater used for daily dance technique classes, as well as for performances by students, faculty, and visiting guest artists.

Mortensen Hall houses the dance department executive offices, a large public atrium, and the Kevin Goetz Studio for Theater and Dance. Corwin Lodge is also used for dance classes and student rehearsals.
