Major Requirements


Students must complete a minimum of 120 credits to earn the B.F.A. Degree in Dance. This includes 99 Dance credits (including 8 credits of dance electives), 33 credits of liberal arts, and a one-credit interdisciplinary seminar that is mandatory for first-year students and optional for incoming transfer students. Students must earn a C grade or better in the core curriculum (see table below) or repeat the course. Students must be registered for a minimum of 12 credits each semester to achieve full-time status.
