Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance

The Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA) staff provides crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy to Rutgers students, staff, and faculty who are victims/survivors of interpersonal violence, including sexual violence, stalking, domestic/relationship violence, and peer harassment as well as other types of crime. VPVA is committed to the creation of a community free from violence and provides programs and information on violence prevention, including how to be a proactive, engaged bystander to help prevent interpersonal violence in our community.
