New Jersey Math-Science Partnership

Principal Investigator:  William A. Firestone
http://njmsp.rutgers.edu

The New Jersey Math-Science Partnership (MSP) is helping 12 school districts increase student achievement. Also in MSP are the Graduate School of Education and the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education at Rutgers University with Kean and Rowan universities. MSP helps districts plan strategically for improving their mathematics and science education from prekindergarten through 12th grade. It also offers leadership development and professional development services. MSP also helps the three universities recruit minority students and science majors for careers in education and is strengthening their teacher preparation programs.
