The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) is dedicated to improving early childhood education and care for all children through research. The institute counts many distinguished GSE faculty members as participants. NIEER offers independent research-based analysis and technical assistance informed by an understanding of the issues and options faced by policy makers. NIEER conducts interdisciplinary studies of early education policies and programs with respect to access, quality, and resources. Advancing understanding of the economics of early childhood education and care is a particular focus of the institute. For additional information, contact Terri Manzo, NIEER, 120 Albany Street, Suite 500, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 (tmanzo@nieer.org).
