Psy.D., Rutgers
Donald Morgan is the director of the Psychological Clinic at GSAPP and teaches in the clinical program. After graduating from GSAPP in 1979, he was a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then spent 15 years in full-time private practice working with children, adults, and couples. Dr. Morgan`s work is influenced by postdoctoral studies in yoga and self-regulation practices, Eastern studies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a certificate in psychoanalysis. His research background includes psychophysiological studies of hypnosis, attention, and pain control, and he is currently working with biofeedback and neurofeedback in clinical research. He has served as a consultant to Overlook Hospital`s Department of Cardiology and developed its first stress management group program.
