Graduation Requirements


Below is an itemized list of specific requirements that all successful candidates will satisfy in order to graduate: 

1.    Students must successfully earn a minimum of 120 degree credits in order to earn a bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree from the School of Business-Camden.

2.    Students must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.000.

3.    Students must have fulfilled all major prerequisites with grades of C or better.

4.    Students must have fulfilled all general education requirements with no more than  two D grades.

5.    Students must earn a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.000 in the business core, with no more than one D grade in this area.

6.    Students must have fulfilled all major requirements with no more than one D grade.

7.    Students must complete 30 of their final 42 credits at Rutgers University-Camden, including at least 12 credits in the major (residency requirement).

8.    Students must have successfully discharged all academic, disciplinary, and financial obligations to the university.

Filing for a Diploma

The Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) awards degrees three times a year: January, May, and August. Students who complete their studies in the summer should file for an August dated diploma. Students who complete their studies in December should file for a January dated diploma. Those who complete their studies in May should file for a May dated diploma. To be considered for graduation, seniors must submit a Diploma Application with the appropriate time frames as stated on that website.

Minor Certification

Rutgers School of Business-Camden students with an arts and sciences minor (i.e., economics, psychology, etc.) are required to submit an approved and signed Minor Certification form from the appropriate department chair to the Rutgers School of Business-Camden Academic Services Office. All minors must be declared and posted to student's transcript prior to applying for a diploma.

Alternatively, department faculty may confirm minor completion, in writing, via email or department approval form. Minor certification confirmation must be submitted to the Academic Services Office at the least one month prior to degree completion.

Bachelor of arts in business administration students (online and off-campus) are eligible to complete minors, however not all minors offered can be completed in a fully online or off-campus format. Those minors that do not offer required courses online or off campus will not be available to the bachelor of arts in business administration students.
