Change of Courses

The addition, substitution, or dropping of courses is permitted only during the add/drop period of the semester as shown on the academic calendar. Courses dropped between the end of the add/drop period and the end of the 10th week of the semester are considered a withdrawal. Courses dropped during the add/drop period do not appear on a student's transcript. Courses from which a student withdraws remain on the transcript with a W designation in place of a grade.

No course may be dropped during the last week of class.

Students considering any change in courses should discuss their plan with their academic adviser before doing so and consult the registrar's office for complete registration information.
